Here are some games which can be enjoyed even on the swimming pool together with your friends, officemates, and family members.

1. Tug-of-war

The material needed is a rope where the length is enough for both groups to pull it. It is exciting to do it on water because all the group members must exert an extraordinary effort to pull the rope unlike on land where they can stand firmly as they can. Just like the rule in tug-of-war, once the tie’s mark pulled to your side, your team will be hailed as the winner.

2. Limbo Rock

Instead of using stick, rope can be used in playing limbo rock on the swimming pool. Unlike the typical limbo rock, they can cross through how deep they can swim and the crossing depends on their own technique. If any part of the body touches the rope, they will be out of the game. Required players must be good in swimming.

3. Jumping Rope

This one will be played on the poolside. To make this game a little less ordinary, put a twist on how it will be played to avoid boredom. To make the game more exciting, the player will hold a glass of water and jump three time over the rope. The water should not spill out or the player will lose the game. The person who with the greater amount of water left on his glass will be announced as winner.

4. Volleyball

This game is really fun to do on the swimming pool because it’s really hard to move when you’re in the water, making the game more challenging. The rules and the scoring is the same as the conventional volleyball game.

5. Soaked Shirt Relay

This relay game could be a little bit exhausting as you have to race against time. Choose the appropriate depth of the pool according to the players. If not all players can swim on 6 ft deep pool or deeper one, have the relay on 4-5 ft swimming pool.

How to play this game: the players will stand in line on one side of the pool area. There will be one official shirt which will be worn by the players throughout the game. The first player will wear the shirt and swim towards the other end of the pool where a pail is situated. Player 1 has to squeeze the water out of the shirt then will run back to his teammates to pass the shirt on to Player 2. The same goes until the last team player finishes. The team with more water on the pail wins the game.
